Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness & overall well-being. Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility and focuses on the mind-body connection, the exercises focus on using breathing as a technique to help promote the stability of the core muscles. Pilates helps correct muscle imbalances and improves overall co-ordination and balance.
